Charles Halstead shot himself in the left leg last Saturday while hunting jack rabbits south of wn. He crawled under a fence dragging his 22 caliber rifle when a discharge struck his knee. Tarver the mail carrier found him and Dr Hunter treated him. he is expected to recover and return to school.

Obituary of Henry Hardin of Sullivan County
Henry Hardin born August 11 1844 in Henry county Kentucky died December 6 1919 at 71. He moved with his parents to Sullivan County Missouri at age three and married Sarah Athelia Caffee on March 22 1873. Survived by wife three sons two daughters twelve grandchildren a brother and a sister. Funeral held at the Baptist church with Masons in charge and burial in Gillette cemetery.
