Record Hog Tops Campbell County Market Weight
The fore part of this week Man ager Race of the City Meat Market killed and dressed a hog of exceptional size. At eleven months it weighed four hundred seventy five pounds dressed skin on, with backfat eight inches thick and snout to tail measuring about six feet. It was a Campbell county product raised by Mr Melherney and fattened on locally grown corn. This proves hogs can be successfully raised in this country.

Cates Child Rescued From Open Cistern Accident
