Forest revenue share to Wyoming tops thirty four thousand

The US Department of Agriculture reports that for the year ended June 30 the 25 percent of national forest receipts allocated to states for roads and schools totaled 506 194 84 up 67 492 03 from last year about 15 percent. Wyoming receives 34 704 54 as its share to offset forest land withdrawal losses.

Deputy U. S. Marshal Arrests Sheep Owner for Illicit Fencing

Cheyenne deputy marshal Leslie M. Snow detained C. W. Barney in Sheridan on charges of illegally fencing government land in Crook County. Barney posted $1000 bond for the next U.S. district court session in Cheyenne after appearing before United States land commissioner Allen L. Mason. Barney, a prominent Northern Wyoming sheep owner, was named in the Sheridan Enterprise report.
