Fifteen Missouri landseekers toured the county with plans for others to follow if suitable sites are found. H J Chassell bought a carload of wheat from U S French’s crop at $1.24 per bushel the best local price. School bids for District No 1 Daw son and Weese districts were opened with Rene Menkin named lowest bidder for both houses.
