Water Spout Floods Croton Rail, 75-Foot Washout Delays Traffic

Heavy rain swept Croton area with sheets of water rushing down a canyon four miles west. The flood overwhelmed a railroad culvert, raising water to 75 feet and washing out tracks, delaying traffic for hours.
