Pathfinders and booster tourists of the Black and Yellow trail arrive at 6 p m Tuesday August 19 for an overnight stay before continuing to Buffalo. About twenty five cars and ten official crew members are expected with Roy Montgomery and others planning to meet them in Moorcroft. Businessmen are urged to host a banquet in appreciation.

Sheridan youths form militia and head to Cheyenne encampment
Sheridan reports forty five young men organized a militia company last Saturday and traveled to participate in the frontier celebration at Cheyenne. Cambria endured two cloudbursts on the 10th and 11th with heavy flooding and structural damage to bridges and buildings. State Geologist Trumbull and his team are surveying Moorcroft oil fields, purchasing supplies for a month and planning to finish by summer’s end.
