Deadly chlorine leak caps after 642 hours in Greensburg
A valve failed on a railroad tank car carrying 55 tons of chlorine, releasing yellow green fumes over a residential area. The leak was sealed after 642 hours. About 2,000 residents evacuated. 57 people were affected, ten hospitalized in fair condition, mostly police and firefighters. Some civilians, including elderly residents, were treated and released.
