Two Drownings and Three Missing From Squirt Capsize
MANASQUAN N J May 22 Two persons drowned and three were missing today from the 50 foot party fishing boat Squirt which capsized a mile outside Manasquan Inlet. Coast Guard and other boats searched the area as 28 persons were rescued. The Squirt was righted and towed into the inlet. Storm warnings were posted from Block Island to Cape Hatteras. The two bodies were being brought to shore and had not yet been identified.
