Belmont health notice reports Arthur Grier Lee 4 died Tuesday at 2 55 am at his Hickory Grove Road home after weeks of illness. A retired veterinarian and farmer, son of James and Rebecca Hoover Lee, he lived much of his life in Mecklenburg County and belonged to Masonic lodge Mount Holly and Stowe Memorial Baptist Church. Survived by wife Mary Ola Hicks Lee, four daughters, two sons, four grandchildren and one great grandchild. At 5 45 p m in front of Huffman Pines Tourist Court George Todd 42 of Charlotte R 6 suffered a broken leg and internal injuries. He was moved from Gaston Memorial to Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. Thomas Franklin Young Sr 41 of McAdenville had lip and facial cuts and bruises with no broken bones and was improving at Gaston Memorial. Jesse Lester Jarrett Jr 19 of Dallas received first aid and was released. State Patrolman E N Hooper said Young turning left caused the collision with Todds car while Jarrett rear ended Youngs.
