Beacher Hamby Dies at 49 in Gastonia

Second crash at wreck claims fourth life in Virginia
Four dead in a two vehicle head on crash on Route 52 between Mt. Airy and Hillsville, Va. Three members of the Keith family from Mt. Airy were killed in a fiery wreck, including George Keith, his wife Priscilla, and their year old son Roy. Ed McIntosh of Middleton Ohio, driver of the other truck, was hospitalized in critical condition. The tractor trailer driver was unidentified and released. A Virginia state trooper directed traffic at the scene as another truck descended with a steel carload, unable to stop.

High School Pupil Charged With Murder
