Burial at Gaston Memorial Park. Body from Carothers Funeral Home to the home Tuesday at 6 p m and in state one hour before services. Active pallbearers named. Mrs Wilde Dies At Home Of Her Daughter Here
Mrs Emily R Wilde 87 mother of Mrs Arthur Hull Ryde of Gastonia died at her daughter's home this morning at 6 am after a long illness. A Coventry England native she lived in the U S since 1923 and in Gastonia since January 1953. Funeral Thursday 1 pm at St Mark's Episcopal Church with Rev Charles Allen officiating. Burial in Gaston Memorial Park. She leaves daughter Kathleen and grandson Norman Hull Ryde of Gastonia and two sisters in England. She was born August 10 1879 in Coventry and came to the U S with her late husband Rev Arthur Wilde. She resided at 109 South Edgemont. Memorials may go to St Mark's building fund.
