Studebaker Wreck on York Street Stolen Car Incident
A 1948 Studebaker was wrecked in the 1200 block of South York Street at about 3 AM Wednesday. Dr. W M Jones, awakened by the crash, reported the car struck a culvert and turned in the road before fleeing driver escaped. Police found the stolen vehicle and turned the matter over to detectives.
