Martin Dies At 57 In Cramerton Community
Carroll Finley Martin of Cramerton died Tuesday at 5 30 am after a two year illness. Born in Laurens County South Carolina March 7 1897 he lived 26 years in Cramerton retired from Burlington Mills as department foreman. Survived by wife Eunice Perry Martin two sons Carroll Martin Jr and William P Martin two daughters Ruth E R Craig and P W Maus four brothers and three sisters. Funeral Wednesday at 3 pm at First Baptist Church Cramerton with a procession of local clergy. burial at Gaston Memorial Park. He was a World War II veteran and former president of the Gaston County Wildlife Club.
