Burlington Industries To Close A Week
Burlington Industries will close five textile plants in Gaston County for the July fourth holiday week. Spencer Love says mills will shut Saturday July 2 and reopen after the holiday. Some plants with seasonal demand may stay open. The move includes vacation bonuses and potential two weeks pay or 4 percent of annual wages for long-time employees.
