Miss Miriam Elizabeth Morgan daughter of Rev and Mrs J L Morgan of this city wed Rev Harold G Deal son of Mr and Mrs Harold G Deal of Hickory on Monday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Hickory The ceremony followed her Lenoir Rhyne College graduation background with palms white gladioli and gowns The bride wore an Emily gown and carried a white orchid bouquet The Rev J L Morgan D D presided assisted by Rev Voight R Cramer The couple planned to travel then pursue studies at Yale and Oriental Languages in fall. guests included out of town relatives and many local officials.
