Five American Marines are reported missing after a Christmas holiday hunting trip into Chinese Communist territory near Tsingtao. Officials provided no details on the disappearance. A Chinese source said an abandoned jeep was found beyond Chinese lines, but undamaged. Names of the missing were withheld by Marine and Navy commands.
