Two Firefighters Die In Dallas High Rise Fire
A dawn blaze on the 14th floor of the Athena on Northwest Highway in North Dallas killed two firefighters and injured two others and two residents. Residents were rescued from balconies as flames and smoke filled the upscale building. Fire officials said the cause was unavailable and the structure was evacuated after the blaze was tamed.
