Cyril Ritchard dies after long career remembered as Captain Hook
Australian born actor Cyril Ritchard dies at Northwestern Memorial Hospital at age 88 after a decade in coma since May 25 collapse on stage. He rose to fame as Captain Hook in Peter Pan with Mary Martin, starred on Broadway in 1954 and 1957, and had an extensive stage TV and opera career. He will be buried privately beside his wife Mange Millntt in Ridgefield, Connecticut.
