John Rafa Mason, a longtime Bessemer City figure and former judge, died Friday after a yearlong illness. Funeral services will be held at Odell Memorial Methodist Church with burial in Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, two sons, four daughters, and several grandchildren.

Rehearsal party Saturday night to celebrate the marriage of Miss Dean Ladsais Harold Smith Jr hosted by Mr and Mrs 1 ti Tadeo.
