KM commission puts employes on probation
Kings Mountain muddled city affairs as the new KM Commission placed all 120 city employees and consultants on 90 day probation Monday night. The measure, approved unanimously, follows a four year stagger plan with 1977 elections. The retiring board had approved contracts totaling 339575 for a 74 car downtown parking lot and 179085 for downtown electricity upgrades along with acoustical work at the city hall.
