Lowell Man Dies in Crash Near Wake Forest
Graham Otis Stone, 53, of Lowell, died early Friday in a crash when his car collided with a baking company truck driven by James Hall of Greensboro. Hall reportedly said Stone appeared slumped at the wheel. Stone, born April 27, 1906, lived in Lowell and recently worked at Erwin Mills in Durham. Funeral Sunday at 3 p.m. at Fast Belmont Baptist Church, with burial at Stanley Cemetery. He is survived by a wife, four sons, a daughter, a father, two sisters, six brothers, and seven grandchildren.
