A Friday night shootout at a west Charlotte bar left Randolph Daniels 30, of Stanley, dead from chest wounds after exchanging fire with a customer. Bar owner Robert Gaddy 17 was shot between the eyes while trying to break up the fight. John Boyd 97 in critical condition. two others wounded by stray bullets as police seek a motive.

Deer mauling leaves couple injured in Maryland
