Raft capsizes in Niagara rapids killing three
A raft carrying about 30 people flipped in the Niagara River rapids three miles below the falls. At least three were killed and one man remained missing as helicopters and boats evacuated survivors. Eighteen people received treatment in Niagara Falls area hospitals, with three admitted and none in serious condition.
