Shirley Cauthen Opens Dance School Sept 8 in Gastonia
Shirley Cauthen, TV dancing star, announces a new school of dance at 623 East Franklin Avenue Gastonia opening September 8. Ballet modern and ballroom instruction for all ages will be offered with morning classes and air conditioned facilities. Cauthen, former Carolina Ballet member, studied dramatics at the University of South Carolina and appeared in Columbia theater productions and as a regular cast member on From Your FBI radio program.
