Funeral services for Maxwell Nelson Hoyle of Salisbury were held Saturday at Sumercett Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. Gilvesth G. Adams, nephew of the deceased. He was father of Maxwell N. Hoyle Jr. of Mount Holly. the Hoyle family had returned to Mount Holly earlier in the week.

William H Price age 80 died Wednesday at his home in Gastonia after a month long illness. Born in Georgia he lived in Gastonia for 30 years. Survived by wife Mrs Bunabety Edwards Crlee a son Greene Price and daughter Nelie Price of Gastonia two more sons Willie Price and Virgil Price, two daughters Mrs L G Norwood and Mrs Emma Passmore, three sons Tom Price Bud Price and others. Funeral Friday at 2 pm at the bone vondieted church with Rev Arm strong and Rev Reel officiating. Burial at Pine Wew Cemetery. Grandsons will be pallbearers.

Mrs Mullen Dies At Home In Lincolnton
Mrs. Mullen, 97, lifelong Lincolnton resident, died at her home after two years of declining health. A longtime member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and widow of James T. Mullen, she left seven children, several grandchildren, and was buried in Halliburank cemetery after services at First Presbyterian Church. Her sons Harris and Charles Mullen now publish papers in Florida.
