Belmont Aug 19 The Sunbeam Society of Belmont Baptist church closes a fruitful revival led by Rev W C Barrett at the Belmont church. Three restorations and thirteen baptisms were reported, with baptism by Rev L M Hobbs. An ice cream supper Thursday at 5:30 pm at Mr and Mrs J P Stowe’s home will aid the choir chairs. No service next Sunday.

MT HOLLY Aug 19 Friday the annual picnic for Miss Ada Dunns Sunday school class was held at Miss Julia Smiths home two miles from town. The old farm by the rock spring with oaks provided shade as children arrived by wagon. Guests greeted hosts and enjoyed swings and a plentiful dinner served in the east yard. Ice cream followed and every child got a share before wagons returned at 6 30 with songful goodbyes.
