Ten Persons Injured In Auto Wreck Near Gastonia
Ten people were injured Monday night in a two-vehicle collision on Wilkinson Boulevard near Boulevard Wrecker Service. A car driven by Roy Tee Davis, 18, of North Belmont, struck the rear of a pickup carrying a Black family of ten. Davis and passenger Wilbur Hogans, 27, were treated. Hogans dismissed. Armstrong family members in the pickup, including Edith Armstrong and five children in cab, with two more in the bed, were treated. two children were hospitalized. Wreck occurred about 11 pm. Gaston Life Saving Crew and five funeral-home ambulances responded.
