A five room house on Dav Park quad was destroyed by fire. Assistant Fire Chief Pat Workman stated the cause is unknown and firemen noted a neighbor was visiting Ned Simmons when the blaze began. Earlier in the day firefighters responded to a Ford auto fire at Station No. 3 on West Franklin.
