Methodist School Of Missions At Pfeiffer College
The annual School of Missions of the Woman's Society of Christian Service will convene at Pfeiffer College in MiSenheimer August 18 to 23 under Western North Carolina Conference leadership. Leaders from Pfeiffer College and New York City will teach four studies on church and race, Japan, the Gospel of Mark, and the church's social witness. Workshops cover parliamentary procedures, group discussion, and drama. A spiritual life retreat precedes the meetings with Mary Floyd directing. Local participants include WSCS officers and representatives from Graham/Stanley area churches.

Costing 150000 dollars, the complex will be built by Southeastern Construction Company in six months on a 10 1/2 acre tract beside the parochial school. granite exterior will match the school, and the project includes sale of the church's uptown property at 114 West Long Avenue.
