Trial set in fatal 2021 Cherryville shooting case
Jury selection began Monday in Cherryville for Kendra Adaire Odums 25 charged with first degree murder in the death of 24 year old Rhen Markee Flack Jr. Flack was shot at a Heather Lane apartment May 3 2021 and died May 4 2021. Odums is held at Gaston County Detention Center as prosecutors Stephanie Hamlin and Kristen Northrup pursue the case before Judge Nathaniel Poovey. The trial is expected to last over a week.
