Gaston County Library celebrates 40th anniversary
The Gaston County Public Library main branch on Gardison Boulevard marked its 40th anniversary with several hundred attendees despite cold rain. Opened November 13, 1978, the three story, 60 000 square foot facility was built after groundbreaking December 16, 1976.
