CareMont Health outlines plan for second hospital near Belmont Abbey

CareMont Health plans a 60 to 80 bed regional hospital at Belmont Abbey, part of a $325 million county investment. Interstate 85 widening plan brings relief and concern

North Carolina officials announce a 10 mile I-85 widening project from Belmont to Gastonia, expanding six lanes to eight and adding upgrades at N C 7 Wilkinson Boulevard.
