Charlotte edged New York 110 to 106 in double overtime to pull within one game of the Knicks in the Eastern Conference semifinals. Hornets guard and team defense key the rally as the series shifts back to Charlotte.
Muggsy Bogues hit an 18 foot jumper and two late free throws in the final 30 seconds, lifting the Charlotte Hornets to a victory over the Knicks. The game story highlights Bogues clutch performance and the Hornets finish.
The Hornets host Game 4 of the best-of-seven series Sunday at 1 p.m. The matchup will be televised on WCNC Channel 36.

In Chicago a malfunctioning armored car spilled cash on Interstate 55 and Interstate 94 drawing hundreds of motorists. Paramedic Brandon Hatch recovered a $120,000 bag and delivered it to police while others turned in about $30,000 more. Police estimate over $600,000 exited the truck, though Loomis Armor Inc. cites $250,000. Loomis offered a 10 percent reward for recovered money.
