In Gaston County, David Lynch testified details from a Dec 9 1991 shooting spree that left India and Bobby Anderson dead and five others injured. A psychologist said Lynch may have sought self destruction, while prosecutors seek to use his statements as evidence in a double murder trial.
A California postal worker wearing a Psycho shirt fatally shot a co worker after stalking her and may have killed his mother while wounding two others. In Michigan a fired employee killed a man at a Dearborn postal garage and then killed himself, hours before a Dana Point gunman killed one and wounded another. Authorities identified the suspects as Mark Hilbun, 38, and a Michigan mechanic named Larry Jasson.
Alfredo Rials, 32, allegedly climbed multiple barriers to reach the African Plains exhibit and sat between two 350-pound lions for about ten minutes. He sustained head and back injuries, is hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation, and cannot explain his actions witnessed by zoo visitors.
