Twenty three Cherryville High School students in EMT and Public Safety classes joined a hands on practice staged by Ray McMillian with Crowders park staff Gaston County EMS and the Gaston County Search and Rescue Team The late April exercise placed Sophie Pfeifer in charge of three student teams Alpha Baker and Charlie to learn how emergency care is delivered where injuries occur.
