Runoff set for South Point Township races in Gaston County

A runoff election on May 14 will decide three races in South Point Township including the North Carolina lieutenant governor, state auditor, and Gaston County Board of Commissioners seat. Ronnie Worley led by one vote over a GOP rival. participation limited to Republican voters and unaffiliated voters who voted Republican in the primary. Early in person voting runs April 25 to May 11 at the Board of Elections office.

Pints n Paris Craft Night at Gaston Museum

The Gaston County Museum hosts Pints n Paris from 6 to 9 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month. Visitors bring yarn or other crafts to knit crochet or needlepoint in a group setting with guidance from curators and guest artists.
