Cleveland County deputies responded to a mental crisis call at 1300 E Stagecoach Trail in Fallston. Pedro Cruz Amado, 24, allegedly struck Deputy Scott Trammel with a metal chair and was fatally shot after the deputy retreated and applied deadly force to stop the attack.
