Cherryville Wal-Mart water sewer line approved
Cherryville City Council approved a water and sewer line extension contract for the future Wal-Mart site. Cooper Construction won with a bid of 536,639 dollars to extend water from Bud Black Road and NC 150 past the property. Sewer service will cover about 85 percent of the cost and include a rear pump station to feed the line along the road. Wal-Mart targets early to mid 2008 opening. line work to start after July 1 with fire service line installed first.
