Tequila's to reopen downtown with revamped space and bar
The Montes family and partners plan a redesign of Tequila's in downtown Gastonia. The project would convert the 1904 building for a fast casual concept with a full bar, a smaller menu, counter ordering, and table service or carryout. They face permits, health approvals, and cost constraints. Several other Tequila's locations remain open in Mooresville and Huntersville. The timeline is uncertain to avoid delays.
