Lindsey Bolick an echocardiography technologist in Cardiopulmonary Services at Gaston Memorial Hospital is named May employee of the month for going above and beyond in patient care. Camp Summer Breeze Asthma Camp Teaches Control and Fun
In Gaston County a group of respiratory therapists and nurses started Camp Summer Breeze to educate children eight to twelve with asthma and their parents. The week long program at Camp Rotary in Gastonia, August 13 47 features medical oversight, trigger awareness, and activities like swimming and crafts. Tuition is 75 with scholarships available.
