Gaffney Peachoid to gain new paint after repaint
Cherokee County’s water tank nicknamed the Peachoid will get a fresh coat to resemble a ripe peach. The project transfers the maintenance contract to Southern Corrosion with a quarterly fee around 18000 dollars, about 72000 dollars annually. Artist Freudenberg, who painted the tank in 1981, calls this his final Peachoid project as filming attention from Netflix’s House of Cards helped boost its recognition.
