Community yard and fundraisers fill weekend events
Long Creek Memorial Baptist hosts a hot dog sale from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at 210 Long Creek Church Road Dallas. Lincoln County Red Cross yard sale runs 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 302 N. Aspen St. Lincolnton, continues Saturday 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Blood drives occur at Stanley Pentecostal Holiness and Lutheran Redeemer. Multiple church yard sales feature low prices and charity benefits, plus pet adoption and a dog wash organized by local groups and Duke Energy volunteers.
