Kings Mountain woman builds women support group
Lisa Vaughn, born in Kings Mountain and moved back in 2020 after her father died, started Friends Supporting Friends to help women find a listening ear and encouragement. A January Facebook post invited ladies to breakfast, drawing nine attendees the first week and more the next. The group aims to empower attendees and foster community among women.
