Grant boosts Gaston College advanced manufacturing center
Gaston College receives a 1.5 million grant from the Economic Development Administration to fund the Center for Advanced Manufacturing in Gastonia Technology Park. The project aims to create 160 jobs, save 25 positions, and open by 2016 at a 4.4 million construction cost with potential naming rights from a local firm.
