Gaston cold weather shelter open most nights this week
With temperatures below freezing for several nights the Gaston County cold weather shelter operated for most of the week. Melanie Lawrance noted high demand and volunteers are needed to ensure it can open when required as council weighs a 3400 dollar city funding increase.
