Gaston County saw flooding near the South Fork River in Lowell and Goat Island in Cramerton with many downed trees. No injuries or deaths were reported. A Friday storm threat was noted by meteorologists as possible brief heavy rain. Gaston County Schools announced a two hour delay for Wednesday.

Dare to Venture Career Expo Heads to Dallas Church
