Postal worker pleads guilty to delaying U.S. mail in NC
Gary Wayne Collins 53 of Forest City admitted in federal court to unlawfully destroying detaining and delaying mail. The plea relates to an April 15 2014 Shelby incident where 1513 pieces including 628 First Class mail and three parcels were recovered from behind a dumpster. More than 1800 undelivered mails were later found at his home and vehicle dating back to 2000.
