Beginning in August the United States Postal Service will not deliver mail to street addresses on Saturdays. Packages will still be delivered and post office boxholders will still receive mail. On Wednesday at the post office in Gastonia four local residents weighed in on not receiving mail on Saturdays.
Kay Wilson of Kings Mountain has a post office box in Gastonia and will continue to receive mail there. She says she does not see a problem with it and notes she often does not check mail on Saturdays.
