Lost ships surface at Brunswick Town Fort Anderson site
Archaeologists from East Carolina University's Maritime Studies program disclosed four newly found shipwrecks at Brunswick Town Fort Anderson in Brunswick County amid erosion risk. One wreck may be La Fortuna, the Cuban Spanish privateer sunk in 1748, with further work needed to confirm IDs.
