Greater Gaston observes national day of mourning for Oklahoma City tragedy
Gaston area churches joined a national day of mourning on April 23 1995 designated by President Clinton. Bethlehem and Lincoln Avenue Baptists in Lincolnton along with St. Marks Episcopal Gastonia First Wesleyan First Presbyterian Gastonia and others held services with prayers moments of silence and flag observances to comfort victims and families and reflect on faith during the national crisis.
